The new Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) are 10% off during the Prime Early Access Sale—but we still don't think they’re worth the dough. Our audio expert, senior staff writer Lauren Dragan, calls the set "a good Apple accessory and a middling earbud" and still recommends our other earbuds picks over these AirPods. The AirPods Pro's noise cancellation "isn't the best we’ve tried," she says. "The sound is fine, but not amazing." The only reason to get this set now is if you liked the older AirPods Pro and you need a new pair. "You definitely don't need them if you own the current Pro earbuds and those still work," Lauren says, adding that with any AirPods, you sacrifice a secure fit and have to endure "fiddly and lacking onboard control buttons."
