If you have purchased a remote control on/off power socket to control your Christmas lights - a warning has been issued over excessive heat build-up in the plug of some units.
DIY retailer B&Q has identified a potential fire risk with the sets and have taken the decision to recall the products, as in some circumstances, items in contact with the product could ignite.
If you have purchased these products please stop using it immediately:

Remote control on/off set triple - barcode 4895130705675
The products were on sale between September 2014 and November 2017.
If you have purchased this product, the advice is to switch off at the wall and return it to your local store, where a refund to the value of your purchase will be given.
